Berezan Hospitality Group and Berezan Management Ltd. are proud of our ongoing relationships with a variety of local non-profits and charity organizations. Our Berezan businesses have supported the Surrey Memorial Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, and local food banks for many years through charitable donations and fundraising programs. We are strong supporters of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) and also contribute to Dry Grad initiatives.
Divisions of our Hospitality Group work with specific causes such as Sasquatch Mountain Resort’s (formerly known as Hemlock Resort) ongoing fundraising activities with the Canadian Cancer Society. Chances Gaming Centre in Castlegar donates to local non–profits on a quarterly basis and such contributions have been made to the Kootenay Animal Assistance Program, the Castlegar Hockey Society, and Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital & Health Foundation to name a few. Our group is quick to respond to emergency situations both globally and locally including the tragic 2010 earthquake in Haiti, and more locally, an apartment fire that affected an area close to our LRS Store in Rutland BC.
Internally, we strongly encourage all of our team members to get involved in the communities in which we work, live, and play. Our hospitality group’s Volunteer Your Time Program provides our team with the tools and support required to spend some time giving back to our local communities.
Our values are based on the firm belief that we all rise by lifting others, and so with that focus, we are honored to be involved with all of the organizations and causes for which we support.
